Tae's 2nd Birthday Party

This was a complete success!! I am so excited that his friends came over to play! Thank you to Michael who did most of the setting up and the cleaning and the after cleaning. It probably would not have looked this good without him. My mom also did the cake which look AMAZING!

We had to do his party a few weeks in advance due to me being due right around his birthday and Michael having drill next weekend, this Saturday was the best option. 

I decided to do a Cars themed party because well lets face it this kid is OBSESSED with cars! I think it turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. 

Overall, I think Tae really enjoyed his party, even though he will probably not remember it! It was his last birthday as an only child so I wanted to do something special for him. 

I cannot believe that in 12 days my little sweet TaeBug is going to be 2. Where has time gone! I love him so much and cannot wait to see what the next year has in store for him!

 I had Michael print off water bottle labels and I stayed up super late putting them on each water bottle! It was well worth it.

 Tae's friend Caleb really enjoyed one of those chocolate dipsticks!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

This past Saturday Wickenburg held a town Easter Egg Hunt, so we took Tae!

He had so much fun after he figured out that he was there to pick up eggs. I had given him a piece of candy before the hunt started so in the beginning all he wanted to do was get more candy! 

He did get a lot of eggs though!

He was not very fond of the Easter Bunny! 

Pregnancy Facts

5 Facts About This Lovely Pregnancy

1. I am highly addicted to cereal! I eat about 3-4 bowls a day of Trix and I LOVE it.

2. At 34 weeks I am already as big as I was with Tae when I walked into the hospital to deliver!

3. Avery likes to kick me in the ribs and then rub his head on my bladder. Therefore I get double the pain and a sprint to the bathroom!

4. I crave candy every single day and I eat candy every single day, probably why fact #2 is there! Haha

5. I gave up caffeine for this pregnancy and I must say as hard as it is to not drink Dr. Pepper I feel way more energized! That being said as soon as I am done breastfeeding I will be back to drinking it! Yum Yum!

I cannot wait to meet this little boy and for Tae to meet his little brother! He is going to be so much help, I HOPE, we've already started practicing with his stuffed monkey which he threw in the closet this morning. It's a start I must say!

I have an idea!

I have an idea and I hope it is a good idea!!

I'm about to have this baby and in the process of looking up things I have left to get I've been searching for a newborn photographer. Normally, I wouldn't get special photographs taken because I am frugal, but I got them with Tae so I feel it necessary to get them with Avery. (They were free with Tae because this amazing lady at my moms work offered to do them)

As I was looking I've realized how expensive professional photography is. Like holy smokes almost $300 for newborn photos. 

Then it came to my mind, why can't I just do my own photos. I always love taking pictures of Tae and I've been wanting a new camera for a long time now. Now is my excuse to get one! I don't want to become a professional at all but we could save so much money in the long run if I just did our own photos. 

So now I am into learning ways to take awesome pictures! This is will an awesome way to occupy my time and save money, we all know I LOVE saving money!

I'm going to get a new camera this weekend and start practicing with Tae. I have also found some really cute prop ideas online and will be hunting for some good finds. I think I might be really getting into this! We will see how it goes, hopefully good and I can take awesome photos!
